This hike took much longer than usual, but it also felt like it was near or below freezing above tree line. There had been a forecast for wind gusts up to 40 MPH, but fortunetly my time spent on the mountain this day had little more than mild breezes. Probably nothing over 25 MPH. I wore many layers and was happy to have done so. I saw several insane hikers in T-shirts and even shorts.
