| no partners | | | With the storm that rolled through I was contemplating a run up to The Canyon to catch the snow (and to attemp some StereoPhoto shots to make up for the previously failed attempt). My boss scheduled me for several conference calls and meetings on Tuesday for Wednesday, so I politely email replied "Sorry, can't attend, will be out of town" I left Queen Creek at 2am in a dense fog. Arrived GCNP at 0630. Road were clear. Set up at Maricopa Point but the clouds were low. Proceeded all through the rim trail at numerous points / vistas. Few people, lots of animals. Went out to Desertview and back to the Village for sunset, then back home. Great trip, the snow really adds a lot to the rim! Got ~425 frames with the Canon 5D, and about 100 paired shots for stereohphotos. |
