My Bro-in-law and I did our 2nd annual Super Ridgeline hike. This time we went West to East. We departed LDSP at 0700 and got to the truck at Carney at 1700, shaving 3 hours off last year's time. This time was much better in that we weren't caught in the clouds. Enjoyed cool, almost cold temps. Many seeps were frozen, especially on th enorthern exposure. We ran into a couple at Flatiron, and then a father and son with full backpacks above the east end of Hog Canyon. They were having a lot of trouble following the cairns and doubted they could stand another night in the cold. I recommended a descent into Hog canyon and out to Broadway TH for pickup. We came into West Boulder valley and lost the trail so we buchwhacked ESE for 1/2 hour until finally locating West Boulder Saddle. Great views and Great weather. Fun Trip
