| no partners | | | Inspired by rvcarter's pics, we looked around the area with no aspirations of reaching the peak, or even getting as far as rvcarter's prior attempts. We avoided the washes as best we could and stuck to high ground, where the off-trail hiking was really pretty pleasant. Next go, we'll try to get up to 5700' to see the plants that inspired this outing, I believe we have a much easier path that we should be able to manage, simply by expanding on our route from today. |
