There is a whole lot of Painted Desert in front of you from the point and luckily I had one advance clue about a good place to look. Good thing too, because there is a whole lot of Painted Desert, etc.
Anyway, repeating my opinions from yesterdays triplog, walking in the area is fun and there are always things to look at. We went to an ancient site with lots of pottery pieces and some nice petroglyphs. After that we just wandered on various levels in the broken country looking for more and did stumble upon a few petroglyphs and pottery concentrations.
A good day, we knocked off early to get back to Phoenix in time for dinner. |
