| no partners | | | Nice hike if you want something not to strenuous to fill the morning. Of coarse the drive to the trail head and back will take up most of the morning. Good hike for the winter months. Tanque Verde Pools would be a nice place for wading in the water but you would want to do that in the summer or late spring(Watch for flash floods in the summer). Most of this hike was along two tracks with the exception of the section between the pools and Italian trap. I'm calling the water tank at Tanque Verde Creek Italian Trap. Italian Trap on the map is actually about .5 miles north of the water tank and corral but there is nothing there but a pond of stagnant water. |
