My sister recently moved to Prescott from Yerington, Nevada, and had not yet hiked Thumb Butte. I went to visit her on Easter weekend and took her to the one of the most well-known landmarks in Prescott. The weather was perfect and we huffed it up the paved trail. Spent time at the Hot Shot Memorial where 19 firefighters lost their lives in Yarnell several years ago. The views were beautiful. We took the dirt trail (loop) back down to the parking lot. Short and sweet.
