Need a slightly cooler place to hike since it was set to be 116 or something down here. I do this one going to the right on the way up so I come doen the paved switch backs. Noticed a couple things, the memorial that was up top is gone and cleaned up. The side trail that I believe actual leads to the peak of the thumb is no longer fenced off, but no official marker either. I got done faster than expected so I took the scenic route back to town via FS 373 (thumb butte loop drive)
