| partners | | | Day 2 of a 12 day road trip to visit my parents and sister inthe Pacific Northwest. We stopped at Subway Caves in the early afternoon. Temps were around 92 degrees, but the lava tube was a refreshing 46 degrees. The kids and I put on jackets and headlamps and walked through the tube twice. A little over-developed for my taste, but the kids loved it. Obviously the gps track is minimally useful since half the time was spent underground. Nice way to take a 30 minute break from driving. |
