Chose this "less strenuous" circuit to the Heart of Rocks, long hike, long day with many breaks. Lucky enough to see a coatimundi with a young one! Many animals on this two day trip, night drive back to Willcox was nerve wracking with rabbit, mice and javelina road crossings, slowed car down considerably! Last time in this park was twenty-one years ago, long overdue! At that visit had taken the trail from Visitor Center to Heart of Rocks. What a grand park is this, so beautiful tucked away in our state.
