| no partners | | | First time in the Sierra Ancha Wilderness. Why did it take us so long? The trail was hard to find in some areas (especially the first .5 mile) thanks to the overgrowth of those nasty thorn bushes. Just a trickle at the falls. While we may have been a week too late to catch the vibrant colors, the stretch between the wilderness boundary and Knolls Hole was still awesome! The forest floor was covered with leaves making following the trail even more difficult. Worth the drive. |
