It was a guys' short day hike with my 7 year old Grandson, his dad and his other Granddad while the ladies in the family went to some play. The Marcus Landslide Trail was my Grandson's chosen destination and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We had just started the hike when my Grandson spotted a bobcat watching us from his hideout on the hillside above - a rare treat. The granite sculpted into different shapes by erosion over many thousands of years kept my Grandson's imagination in high gear - crouching cougars, whales, dinosaurs - they were all over the place. It was a most enjoyable afternoon.
