Kayaked along the Wailua River; docked for quick side-jaunts to Fern Grotto and at a little swimming hole/cliff jumping spot, then pulled in for the hike up to (not-so) Secret Falls. The river was calm and perfect for easy kayaking. The falls were beautiful, and our strategy of going late in the afternoon helped us avoid the larger crowds.
