| no partners | | | Incredible hike! I have been living in Estrella for 13 years and finally got it done! Sweeping views and definitely a tough hike up but worth the sweat. I think part of the fun is the trip out to trailhead. Not well marked and an adventure to find trailhead. We hiked on a Wednesday after Christmas and saw not a soul on the trail. Camelback Mountain on steroids without the crowds. We pushed hard and got up and down in 3 hours. Not a hike for a beginner unless you have all day. |
