| no partners | | This hike was tougher than anyone had realized. The directions given on the golakehavasu website were pretty awful: a hand-drawn map and a description that didn't seem to go with what we were seeing. I think I now know where we went "wrong," but on the other hand, we had a very interesting hike. The area is pretty spectacular, with a lot of rock formations, potholes with water in them, slot canyons and dry waterfalls. There are cliffs and towers of rock, and expansive views of Lake Havasu.
I'll post a few photos my friend took. I didn't bring my camera, and took a few photos with my phone, which are totally out of focus. |
