Nice afternoon hike in great weather. I started off at the Crested cactus at the Fountain Hills parking lot and hiked to the wind socks. The first half mile is on sidewalk. Then a 2 dollar self pay station. The next two miles on a nice trail. The last 2.3 to the top on steeep dirt/cement road. What a workout! Great day to be out though. Overcast with a breeze. Birds were singing joyously and the cottontails were bouncing around with excitement from the recent rain, I believe :D . :y:
