Yesterday I made a Chile run to Hatch NM, so this morning I needed to drop some off at both stores. After hitting Scottsdale JJ's I headed over to the McDowell's and decided to do Thompson Peak. Much to my surprise there were 8 to 10 people heading up.

I like this hike but rarely do it.
