| partners | | | First time on this peak, for me. Started with Linda and Daniela at around 615am. 55 degrees at the start, but warmer air awaited as we got out of the low spots. I enjoyed the gradual uphill to Bell Pass. We were in the sun after that, but it felt nice out for late spring. Very dry out there, right now. We hit the road walk portion and pushed through the couple of steep sections. We enjoyed the breeze and had a snack on the summit. Skies were a little hazy and lacking clouds. Views of the Mazzies were clear, though. On our trip back down, we crossed paths with a few others heading up, but there wasn't a ton of traffic on the trails. We returned the way we came and made it home before lunch. Nice hike and decent gain, close to town. |
