| no partners | | We were in Silicon Valley - my son needed an apartment. Expensive place but once a decision was made we had time for a trip into the beautiful California hills. It's @JimmyLyding country...and we picked Portola Redwoods State Park.
The ranger/volunteer on duty was helpful. She took our $10 parking fee and recommended a loop hike we had enough time to do before flying out from San Jose. The Redwoods are quite a treat for a desert dweller and we enjoyed this nice little loop which combined three trails. We went to the iconic thousand year "Old Tree". CA is not so bad. |
