Went to a section of the Gila River west of Painted Rocks to look for petroglyphs. Didn't find exactly what I was looking for but I did find some in two locations. Also found a geoglyph on the walk back - the whole area is criss-crossed with well-packed trails on the basalt pebble-covered mesas next to the river, probably ancient ones.

Got sprinkled on. A lot of dirt road driving.
