| no partners | | Another evening loop hike in MMRP...
Despite starting from the Competitive Track area, I devised a loop to avoid cyclists by hiking a long stretch of Stoneman Wash. I also hiked part of the Pemberton where it's possible that I might have seen a mountain biker, but it's wider and easier to get out of the way. The last mile or so was on the Sport Loop though, but I kept watch behind me as I finished.
My mountain bike avoidance strategy must have worked because, despite there being a bunch of vehicles in the parking lot, I didn't see anyone out on the trails (or in the wash). |
