| no partners | | Another loop in McDowell Mountain Regional Park: For this evening's hike, I started from the competitive track parking lot and hiked the Long Loop to the first service road. I followed this road until it crossed Stoneman/Pemberton Wash. I followed the wash to Pemberton and then took Pemberton and Shallmo to return to the Horse Staging Area at which point I merely had to walk across the road to get back to my vehicle.
Plenty of solitude on this hike - I only some a few cyclists in the distance for a few moments. |
