| no partners | | | I had mixed up my overlook route stats and thought this was going to be a 2.8 mile round trip and it definitely wasn't going to be that so we turned around before the big climb really began. We still had a two hour drive to get to the Powell side of the Bitterroots for our hike of Graves Peak the next day and neither of us were feeling what was shaping up to be a heck of a climb to what was almost certainly guaranteed to be a pretty amazing viewpoint of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness. Our hike then became just a little sightseeing stroll and a last goodbye to the Bitterroot Valley, before we relocated to the Idaho and Powell side of the mammoth wilderness. |
