Finally hiked Lassen Peak trail! It is a wide and gentle uphill trail with a plenty of visitors and awesome views. The air quality was good, but the views were limited by smoke in the distance. We seemed to be above the layer of smoke and could see just the tip of Mt. Shasta above the smoke in the distance. There was a decent amount of butterflies at the peak and small flowers in some of the rocks. Overall, a fantastic hike but I will have to visit again when it is more clear out!
