| no partners | | | Short hike just outside of Canmore (near Banff, Alberta). A couple of loop options exist. We chose this hike as something to help us get used to the elevation change since we live at sea level. And with all the wildfire smoke, a hike with a view would result in no views. The upper lake was closed to hikers but the lower lake was nice. There was also a rather nice waterfall along the trail as well. On a clear day you'd also get good views of the town and valley below. |
