Overall it's in pretty good condition. Water-proof boots would be a wise decision. Hiked from the Middle Fork trailhead to the bridge at Dingford Creek TH and back. Saw a few people on the way in and tons of people on the way back. Easily had to passed 50 or more people. Parking lot was full and cars lined the street when I left. And this is January! The paved road is a great improvement but the downside is now it appears this hike is just as crowded as many other I-90 corridor hikes. No solitude here. Might have to start from the Dingford Creek TH in the future to find a little solitude on the trail.
