The last time I tried to visit White Sands NM it was over Thanksgiving weekend and there were so many people I couldn't even get into the park. A line of cars (and tour buses) were backed up out onto the highway!

This time went much smoother. A passing storm left some very interesting cloud formations and really nice lighting out on the dunes. Pretty incredible loop out there on Alkali Flats.
