| no partners | | | Hiked up Fret Creek Trail past Oval Lake to the Divide Trail. Then south on Divide Trail to Flag Point Lookout. Instead of following the same route out, I opted to take the Flag Point 4x4 Road down to FR44 and loop back to my truck that way. Beautiful day to be on the trail, clear skies and the larch trees are pretty much at peak right now. Had the whole area to myself. Spent a good deal of time just hanging out on the steps of the lookout tower watching the trees glow in the light of the setting sun. |
