| no partners | | This one isn’t new for the OG Hazzers and has been documented before but after long having it on my list and being able to see it on my drive Friday I knew I had to make it up there.
Left the pups at home and had my friend the mermaid queen join me who is always up for a hearty adventure.
No easy way to it besides a mix of a little creek hopping through a dense obstacle filled bottom with the majority of our route being loose but manageable traverses on the steep canyon hillsides all while gaining respectable elevation.
Made it down to base of the falls and found out why Chums and the crew nicknamed it B-berry Falls last year, #BrambleForDays.
Going back down was still no walk in the park but much easier and exactly half as long as it took to go up.
A quick and fun little hike to a snazzy little area, it would have been such a treat to see this place in all its glory like Preston did back before the fire and I can only hope it will someday look half as beautiful as it once did. |
