This was a great day in Ironwood. We started off hiking Waterman peak. We got off to a great start by spotting about 13-15 bigborn split up into three groups. We then continued up to Waterman. Great peak but super windy. Near the top is a memorial of a helicopter rescue pilot who crashed nearby in 2011. After Waterman, we did some more hiking around the Waterman range. we then drove down to near Cocoraque butte to find the bell rocks and some other interesting stuff. I summitted Cocoraque butte while everyone else was looking at stuff.
I love Ironwood NM!
