| partners | | Trip #6 to visit the twins. The first was in 2011.
With all the snow this year, I knew this would be a must see year.
Thinking last week would be the prime week and not being able to go, I was just hoping for something decent this week.
I think we hit it on the prime weekend.
Stretches of hard packed snow/ice on the climb up Barnhardt in the AM in perfect Temps.
Much was melted on the return trip.
Hawaiian Mist, the Big Kahuna and numerous unnamed falls, noisily kept us interested all the way.
@rayhuston dressed the part for the first two falls.
The Divide Trail was also running strong in many places.
Sandy Saddle and Deadman Falls did not disappoint and were a prime lunch spot.
A favorite of mine for sure.
The views never get old.

Ran into an AZT thru hiker from Raleigh, NC on the return as well as a few HAZ'ers. Daniel & @mirage1
Good to meet you.
This place is getting popular.
I saw more people on this hike, than on any of the previous 5
I'm guessing there should be a good flow for a couple more weekends.
'till next year......... |
