This was Fathers Day 2019

and was the next to last full day of my 6nt/7day (6/12 to 6/18) Mogollon Rim Vehicle Camping/Hiking/R&R trip.

I had a planned late start today after a healthy

camp breakfast. I only had two short hikes on my agenda for today. This first stop was to check out the Dane Spring Riparian area which included a very short hike down the U-Bar Tr #28 from Dane Spring to the documented on HAZ- Gps "off-trail" location and route ( [ Dane Cyn LOOP Option fm 321A TH :: map ] ) to connect with an active Elk use route that decends into Dane Canyon to proceed on a very enjoyable, moderate route finding with Gps Route download and route following required, for this Off-Trail/On Trail Loop.

All went as planned for this first hike stop. My second hike stop did not go as well..
