This hike just never gets old for me. I love everything about it with the exception of the drive in. It is always amazing to me in the middle of summer how this feels nothing like our desert even though it is relatively close to Phoenix. In the middle of the chute there was even a patch of Columbines. One of my all time favorite flowers. Good times and great company.
