one of my best friends from childhood came out for a visit! :y:

Shell and I took him to catalina state park to give him a classic desert experience. had some exceptional cloud cover. saw 2 tortoises and some great scenery!

after being here for quite a while now, it is always really cool to see the desert for the first time through someone else's eyes every now and then. reminds you of all the great things out here
