| no partners | | | Went out to one of the farms open for the Hands and Heart festival in Highland County Va. On the way spotted an eagle in a tree branch over the stream in Bluegrass but of course flew off when we stopped to take a picture. Two herds of deer one with 5 the other with 11. Saw one rattlesnake on the roadside.The farm had some horses, Oreo cattle and alpaca. We were allowed to hike up one of the drafts where he has the sugar maples collection tubing he maintains for when the trees are ready to tap in the spring. Interesting walk with nice views of the valley. |
