| no partners | | | The water was running very high and fast from all the runoff, making the crossings extra hairy. I was fortunate enough to go in on a tuesday, so i didnt see a soul for 3 days. Amazing only begins to describe that kind of solitude. No luck fishing, but had a great time exploring and taking dips in the frigid (im a desert rat) water. cant wait to go back in the summer and venture beyond the turnaround point as the water was just too cold to get into for more than a few minutes. Bear, javalina, mountain lion, coyote, tracks, scat and evidence was all around but didnt get the chance to see any. maybe next time. |
