This was a weekend car camping trip with a group of great friends and a day hike for some exploring along West Clear Creek. We were camped off of FR142E which is where this trailhead is located, too. Apparently there is no name for this trail. The route down was fun, a bit slippery in the mud from recent thunderstorms but a straight quick shot to the water. The area was green, lush and exactly what I needed this weekend. We hit the water and went to the right a few miles for a pretty leisure stroll through the creek. The flowers were blooming and the bugs were buzzing. Water temps were pert near perfect! This might just be my second favorite place in the state. One day I need to backpack the whole thing.
