| partners | | Chumley put together a nice loop with little bit of everything. A good peak climb and some canyoning with more than expected pools along the way. We hiked Governors Peak first and took a break on top to enjoy the views of the lake and everything else. Then headed off trail down to a side drainage feeding Garfias Wash.
Lost of water in Garfias and we did a side trip up canyon to the more scenic stretches with some pools and cascades. Turning around we headed back downstream to lower Garfias Wash which had water the whole way until we exited. The exit followed good trail back to the start and closed the loop. |
