And we love to hike. In New York State of course, Harriman, Catskills, Palisades, Adirondacks occasionally. Arizona too, Sedona extensively, Flagstaff occasionally, Grand Canyon of course, and all around Phoenix. Then going north, Maine when we get there, Arcadia, or White Mountains in New Hampshire.
Utah, when we get there.
But now, in March 2020, residents as we are of New York City, travelling out to Arizona, or Utah, or Maine, and even hiking here in New York, doesn’t seem prudent. Risky, to us of course, but also potentially to others.
So we do an alternative, the urban hike, around our neighborhood, or actually more like a walk. And we take a camera. As hikers we carry a camera when hiking in nature, so here we take a camera when hiking in the city.
I found it interesting to explore in photos what sits right here in the city around me, and maybe you will too.
Thanks. |
