After reading LosDosSlowFolks log I was hesitant to go especially since it was on a weekend but decided to take the bike and enjoy the ride out there and get to stretch my legs a bit once there. Once I got there I'm glad I took the cycle since the parking lot was packed, much different than my last trip here.

I would like to warn people that at this time the rattlers are out, I saw three on my way in (started around 11) but none on the way out. All were laying out just trying to get warm and never did coil or rattle, which is my preferred method of encounter.

When the wash hits the creek I was surprised to see the water flowing, it never did that last year May time frame and was expecting much more water at the falls but they seemed about the same. I got up to the top and watched all the people come in and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. The water was a a bit chilly but decided to get into the "jacuzzi" for a bit, but trust me it wasn't for very long. The hike out was uneventful and as I said before I saw no snakes. Think I'll go again in May so the water warms up and do it midweek instead of the weekend.
