SCA
SCA joined me for a MTB ride in Prescott today. Parked at the Ranch trail head just south of Costco. Took Homestead #305 down to 7 mile Gulch and jumped on Hoot Owl. Hoot Owl is a new multi-use (motorized and non-motorized) ATV trail. It provides a steady ascent south parallel to and ultimately terminating on Walker Road at Smith Ravine trail head. Crossed Walker Road and rode predominately down hill on Homestead with a stop at Lynx Lake. Saw a whole bunch of mountain bikers and a few hikers once we got closer to the lake. Campground is closed and the toilets are locked :( Continued on Homestead back to Ranch trail head. Nice loop.
