A friend and I were visiting a mutual friend in Prescott and decided to take in some pines while we were up there. We hiked out from the south end of the Homestead trail for about a mile and a half before turning around.
Very enjoyable segment. Good trail, gorgeous morning.
We saw several mountain bikers on the trail but no hikers.
