Bushwacked back into Crystal Spring with Nick. The trail is in a total state of disrepair, and the forest is taking much of its route back. The good news is that the forest is also taking a lot of the fire-damaged area near the trail back, as well. Despite the uncooperative weather, the views were still something else. The short day left time for admiration of the many spontaneous waterfalls that grace the shoulders of Catalina Highway this time of year.
