| no partners | | Wasn't sure if there would still be smoke along Bush Highway so wasn't really prepared for a longer hike. But what a surprise, no smoke or even odor of smoke. So I decided to take a quick loop partway up the northern slope of Peak 2303 for an up-to-date look at extent of the Bush Fire.
After taking a few photos I started heading back down, only to take another look a few minutes later and observe new huge plumes of smoke in two areas, the north side of Boulder Mountain and what appears to be the Alder Saddle area on the other side of Four Peaks.
Video: Smoke from Bush Fire filmed at 2 pm from the north slope of Peak 2303. |
