Yuck!! 70° dew point, 70% humidity and 90° temps, but with yesterday being a lazy day of chores around the house it was back on-the-trail (more accurately OFF-trail) again, conditions notwithstanding.

Last trip I did a similar loop clockwise, enjoying a nice eastern breeze on the climb and dead-air on the descent. Figuring I'd get the oppressive part done first I began with the sweat-bath ascent from the west. It wasn't quite as bad as expected due to random breezes along the western slope.

Once at the saddle I took a short break to wring out the excess sweat, down some ice-water electrolyte mix and enjoy the scenery with a nice breeze over the saddle. Although warming up fast a light breeze continued for pretty much the rest of the hike so it was bearable. Looking to make up a bit in miles & AEG for missing two of the last four days, I added some aimless wandering until I ended up at the car.
