I hiked down to the stream fed portion of North Canyon Trail to stretch my legs when I arrived Monday afternoon. I drove up to some stormy conditions on the north rim, but enjoyed a cloudy hike. This trail is pretty spectacular, from the big views up top to the scenic little stream down low. I saw some nice sized Apache Trout in some of the pools, but no other wildlife.

I have a lot more exploring that I want to do in this area.
