Out and back from the City Creek TH. Trail conditions were good with only low growing catclaw to push through in some sections. The short section of the AZT we hiked on was really nice. Crossed paths with a thru-hiker filtering water he was carrying from the Verde. At close to the 3 hour mark we stopped for a break and lunch and then reversed our steps. Great day.
