I’ve seen this random peak so many times and thought it would be a cool spot to check out sunset. It’s super flat and boring for three first 1.5 miles but then a faint trail leads up to a cute peak. Along the way, we saw an abandoned mine, and stopped to quickly give it a look. The tunnel looked to go really far back, so that was interesting. The peak ended up being a nice spot for sunset and we enjoyed some chips and salsa and a white claw (for me!) up there. We were able to make good timing on the way back down and still had light left when we got back to the car. Nice to get some fresh air and not have to drive very far!
