| no partners | | This could have been a drive instead of a hike but I've found that sometimes it's best to check out a road on foot before driving down a road a mile or so and having to return in reverse.

We ended up in a mining area around Ruby AZ. I say around because we spent time driving and hiking. The main part of the hike was down a road that led to the area in the photoset.
We were headed West on rte. 39 (ruby road) and went past the Ruby Ghost town and then headed down a road called California Gulch. From there we checked out about every road that looked passable.
I think we ended up hiking down a road to Old Glory Ruins.
There was another site of ruins that had cable across the road, a boiler and what was left of a really big rock building with a brick chimney on the opposite side of the wash.
We came back on Warsaw Canyon road.
If you know more information about this area I would really like to know what it's called and where it is because the kid was driving for about an hour and I wasn't paying attention to where she was going.
