| no partners | | | We started on the skunk tank section and came back on the 4. There was a group of trail runners doing a 50 mile run today. Wow! Not many hikers or wildlife other than birds and some cows. The weather was about as perfect as it can get. We don't often hike 10 miles. We were tired. I don't know how some of you do such long hikes. My little dog did great. He has a bad leg and I have to carry him occasionally. It's nice he is small enough to stand on my fanny pack. Today was his longest hike ever. I like a loop, but I think next time I'll just hike further on the 4. It's more interesting with the water and the awesome cactus. |
